Topic: Remembering New Zealand World War II servicemen and women

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of the war, this session will cover researching, recording and remembering New Zealanders who served in World War II. About 5,000 men and women born in New Zealand also served in the Australian armed forces. The session will also include them as finding their records can help research your family back in New Zealand.

If you have a New Zealand ancestor who served in World War II in either the New Zealand or Australian forces and would like to share their story please contact admin@sag.org.au

Skill level: All
