  • Use this registration type if you are a member of a family history society that has affiliate membership of SAG and you have a discount code from your society.
  • Select this option if you are not currently a member of SAG and would like to join. The $20 one-off joining fee will be waived for course participants.
  • Select this option if you are not currently a member of SAG, would like to join and are a full time student. $10 joining fee will be waived. Proof of student status will may be requested.
  • Use this option if you are not a current member of SAG and do not want to become a member at this stage.

The Society of Australian Genealogists, Australia’s oldest family history society, is excited to announce the return of its online course, Intermediate Research Methods.

Over the course of ten sessions (eighteen contact hours in total) including pre-recorded lectures and face to face workshops, you will work on a case study from your own research to learn about:

• Research planning

• Analytical methods

• Documentation
