Our new 'members-only' series, Family History Connect, will feature themed sessions focused on a particular area of genealogy research.
Sessions are generally facilitated by one of the Society’s wonderful volunteers. These sessions are open to all current members of the Society.
Connecting Family History Through Time and Place Via One Focus Studies
Focusing on a single surname, or a specific geographic location, or an individual event explores part of the intricate web that links our family stories to the world in which they lived. You have probably heard about one name and one place studies, but there are other focal points that can become a major part of researching family history.
This introduction to ‘One Focus Studies’ will explore what such studies entail and, through mutual input, lead to fresh avenues that you might wish to follow.
If you are a member of the Society and would like to facilitate a session on your area of interest either in person or online, please get in touch.
This Family History Connect session is being held on Zoom.
This is a members only event. Bookings are essential for this session.
