Join us for a 'prototype' meeting to explore the possibility of starting an AI and IT Interest Group at the SAG.

Presenter of our recent series of AI webinars, Andrew Redfern, will facilitate the meeting where we will be looking for ideas to take this group forward and volunteers to assist with leading the group

The proposed structure of group meetings is as follows:

Time

Runs every 2 months, 90 mins per session.  Wednesday evenings 7.30-9pm

Structure

It is proposed that each session will be made up of a combination of these different segments. 

• Latest Updates - Developments in AI, software and hardware
• News and Views - Opinions, discussion points, recommended software/hardware
• Quick Tips - 3 minutes or less
• Show & Tell - like at school - share something you've done with AI or Tech
• In Depth Focus - longer demonstration of tools, software
• Helpdesk - problems and support, suggestions

Topics 

Could include:  AI, ChatGPT, image generation, software, hardware, cloud, products from apple, microsoft, google, file management, mobile devices, building websites, blogging, equipment. etc
