The Museums of History New South Wales brings together the State Archives Collection and the historic houses, museums and collections previously in the care of Sydney Living Museums. With our new organisation comes our new website, Participants will be guided through the new site’s many features including the new ‘Subjects A-Z’ area, which combines links to all the indexes, guides, webinars and events relating to that subject, and the facility to search across all the collections.

About the presenter:

Emily Hanna is Lead Archivist, Collection Discovery with Museums of History NSW. She managed the Western Sydney Reading Room at Kingswood for many years, providing advice and guidance on using the NSW State Archives Collection. Working closely with a wide range of researchers using the collection, Emily has an excellent knowledge of the many ways archives can be used to inform family history research.  In her current role Emily regularly presents talks and webinars featuring the State Archives Collection.

This webinar will be recorded so you can join live or watch the recording later.
