Join SAG CEO Ruth Graham as she provides a context of the reach of empires through the lens of the public-private companies that reaped the benefits of colonisation. The session will have a particular focus on the East India Company and The Virginia Company of London. She will outline the availability and access of relevant records and touch on the legacy of such organisations for local citizens alongside family historians.
