Meeting Topic: The Scottish in the Caribbean

The specialty topic for the next Caribbean Group meeting will be the Scottish in the Caribbean, followed by open discussion on any topic of interest to the attendees.

Attendees are encouraged to share stories or research tips.

Society CEO, Ruth Graham, will give a presentation about the role of the scots in the slave trade, using a book Slaves and Highlanders by David Alston and Convenor, Danielle Lautrec, will talk more generally about the Scots and other ethnic groups.
