Tour of State Archives NSW, Kingswood

Join the bus trip to State Archives’ Western Sydney Records Centre at Kingswood. Do some research in the reading room and bring your walking shoes to participate in the behind the scenes tour of the facility. The tour takes approximately one hour and involves stairs.

BYO lunch. You need a reader’s ticket and should pre-order up to four records one week ahead of the visit.  

Price includes bus transport to & from the archives. Pick up/drop off from 120 Kent Street or Strathfield train station. Notify the SAG office which pick up location you want.

Parramatta Female Factory & St John's Cemetery Tour

Location: Parramatta

The Parramatta Female Factory was Australia's first purpose-built institution for female convicts and St John’s Cemetery is the oldest existing European burial ground in Australia. Join us for a guided tour of both sites.

BYO lunch. Meet at Parramatta (note, no parking is available at either site). Further details will be provided to participants by email.
