Delivery of items
We use Australia Parcel Post to calculate the cost of postage, according to the weight of your order. Orders will be mailed within 2-5 days of receipt unless stock is unavailable, in which case we will notify you of the likely delay and confirm your wish to proceed.
Make payments for shop orders, membership renewals and research requests via our secure Eway server using Visa or Mastercard. Alternatively, you can mail a cheque or money order to our head office at 120 Kent Street, Sydney 2000, or phone in your credit card details during business hours, on 02 9247 3953.
If you are purchasing from overseas, place your order through the secure online shop. When the items are added to the cart, the GST will then be deducted to show the total amount due.
Terms and Conditions
All orders are accepted subject to availability. The prices quoted are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST (unless otherwise shown). Prices are subject to change without notice, as new stock arrives or for any other reason.
Hundreds of secondhand books continue to be uploaded to our online shop - there is a great range of Australian and overseas genealogical and historical titles, family histories and biographies.
Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information on this site, but the SAG will not be liable for any errors, which we reserve the right to correct.
All returned goods must be in pristine condition, have their complete packaging intact and be received within 14 days. Returned goods claimed to be faulty and subsequently found to be in good condition will incur a $10 service charge. You are responsible for the costs of returning goods, except where they are faulty or damaged in shipment. Returns of software and CD-ROM titles will not be accepted unless the seal on the original packaging is unbroken.
