Richmond Villa is at the northern end of Kent St near the approaches to the Harbour Bridge. Wynyard Station (train and bus) is a 10 minute walk and ferries are 15 minutes away at Circular Quay. There is some metered street parking but public transport is recommended.

Agenda provided by the convenor:

1030 morning 1st session start (& 50 mins duration)

1030-1050 - Introduction to FTM - "FTM Software Highlights" - Larry Czarnik.
This will be a brief overview of FTM, packing everything it CAN do into 20 mins, so all present can “start on the same page”.

1050-1120 - Session AM-1 - "Starting a new tree in FTM" - Helen De Mamiel (live demo - starting an FTM new tree from scratch, entering starting person, parents, grandparents, together with associated sources and simple media eg photos.)

1120-1135 - morning tea - downstairs

1135 morning 2nd session start (& 50 mins duration)

11:35-12:30 - Session AM-2 - Hands-on session with own laptops (ensure fully charged, no power points!) or share/observe (where the attendee does not have or has not brought own laptop). With a number of experienced users in attendance, beginners will have an experienced user to guide them (i.e. as the beginner works the keyboard)

1230 - morning session finish and OPTIONAL move to Lord Nelson for lunch for those who wish to join at own cost
