The University of Sydney is the oldest university in Australia, established in 1850. The first students matriculated in 1852 and graduated in 1856. In 1881, women were admitted into the university, with the first two women students matriculating in 1882. Nyree will take us through what resources there are to help you in your research and, in celebration of the upcoming International Women’s Day, Nyree will be focusing on some of the female students, graduates and staff of the university.
