Join us for two days of lectures to help you find, identify and preserve photographs for your family history.

Hear about the history of photography, learn how to track down photos in the SAG’s collections and elsewhere, how to edit and restore photographs, and how to identify and date them.

Please note that this event was originally advertised as being held at the NSW State Library but will now be held at Richmond Villa. Due to the change in venue, the cost has been reduced from $120/140 to $98/120. Those who have already booked have been sent an email regarding the change.

This is a recording of a presentation by John Cardinal to the TMG Group in August 2017. 

John has developed a program call GEDSITE, which compiles a customisable web site or writes HTML files on CD/DVD, using a GEDCOM file as the input data. Programs that can write a GEDCOM or use GEDCOM as their native file format will work with GEDSITE.
