In the lead up to ANZAC Day 2021 join SAG Board Director, Philippa Shelley Jones, and member and experienced military researcher, Marianne Spencer Young,  and Dr Richard Reid as they delve into the writing process with two authors of military history books.

Explore the intersection between researching family history and military history and how to use these authors' techniques when researching military connections in your own family story.

Our guest authors for this event are:

Alan Leek "Frederick Whirlpool VC: Australia’s Hidden Victoria Cross"

https://www.bigskypublishing.com.au/books/frederick-whirlpool-vc/

Adam Holloway "Duty Nobly Done: An extraordinary account of 11 family members in the Great War".

https://www.bigskypublishing.com.au/books/duty-nobly-done/

The event will include plenty of time for questions from the audience.

The books, including signed copies, will be available to order. Further information about the ordering process will be announced once the details are finalised.

This event will be held via the ZOOM Platform.

This webinar will be recorded, so you can either watch it live or watch it later.
