Detailed Activity Programme
A copy of our latest detailed activity programme for February - April 2010 is available for download here.
Clicking on the relevant member/non member hyperlink for an activty of interest will take you straight to the online bookshop where you can book directly for that event.
The previous programme for November 2009 - January 2010 is available for download here.
Those activities that still have places available can be booked online - go to Shop on the red toolbar and then choose Course Bookings. The new activity list is in PDF format so you'll need Acrobat Reader® or similar installed on your computer. If you haven't got that already, it's a free download from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
Please read the programme carefully, select the activities you wish to attend and follow its instructions. Charges shown are for members/non-members.
You can also browse and book activities by going straight to the online shop from the top menu bar - select Shop and then Course Bookings from the drop down menu. From here you can either scan the list of all current activities advertised in the latest published programme, or you can select a specific category of interest (such as Interest Group meetings, hands-on sessions etc.)

Unfortunately Pauline Kettle is unable to run the English Research Group meeting on Saturday 27 February. In her
place, Jeremy Palmer has agreed to talk on UK Probate Records - looking at what is avaialble and where you'll find
record both pre and post 1858.
Upcoming Vacancies

Each week we will update this page to give an indication of the likely places available for upcoming sessions. We will usually provide this update on Thursday afternoons. Please note that this is only an indication of the likelihood of being able to attend a session if you turn up without making a booking and is no guarantee that those places are still available when the actual event takes place.
Monday 15 February - Orientation Tour of 379 Kent Stret - this session is now FULL and bookings have closed.
Saturday 13 March - Irish Ancestors on the Web - this session is now FULL and bookings have closed.
Friday 19 March - FindMyPast - hands on session at 379 Kent Street is now FULL and bookings have closed.
All other advertised sessions still have places available at present.
Bookings
Bookings must be made for any activity marked this way in the programme - simply click on the relevant hyperlink in the activity programme
to make your booking online, 24 hours a day. or phone or fax during office hours, providing credit card details - bookings cannot be secured
without accompanying payment.
Bookings must also be made for all Research Group meetings. You can book these online or by phone as above.
It is preferable that these are paid for at the time of booking to secure your place.
- Refunds
Refunds are provided only when we can fill your place and we have at least 48 hours' notice. If you book but can't attend, please let us know so that we can give someone else the chance to take your place. Where the Society incurs costs on your behalf a full refund will not be available if you cancel or do not attend.
